About Me

Albert Panchul is a Japanese-American freelance cinematographer and photographer based in the San Francisco Bay Area, specializing in capturing ecological and urban settings through a cinematic lens.

Halfway through his bachelors study in Ecology he discovered filmmaking and then acquired a minor in Film and Digital Media from the University of California, Santa Cruz. He had the opportunity to work as a versatile crew member for independent short films in Santa Cruz and Monterey.

You can find him walking the city streets filming for ‘obserbaytions’, capturing street views in a picturesque fashion through short-form content. You can also see him binging old/newer films, de-rusting his piano skills, and hiking in hopes of coming eye to lens with any animal.
